The IVMA of BC is a great source for information on vegetation management, and the information is obtained from all parts of the globe. Our membership spends millions of dollars annually on vegetation management, products and services, some of which is immediately re-circulated back into the economy with their purchases of goods and services. The IVMA of BC is an association that is dedicated to its membership to provide the best and most recent vegetation management information available.
While new issues come up every day in vegetation management whether concerning the environment, changes in provincial or federal legislation, treatment methods for brush and weed problems, the importance of our association is apparent. As the IVMA of BC deals with many issues, more members will be drawn in to our association and to our web site.
This web site is an important resource where companies, agencies and individuals can find information pertinent to integrated vegetation management in British Columbia and across North America. Vegetation professionals can see what is happening with government regulations, and can communicate with other members, or look for suppliers and contractors. If you chose to become a member you will not only be able to get direct access to this market via the IVMA of BC web site, but your voice will be heard when decisions must be made on behalf of the association.
With forever changing vegetation management practices, legislation, government and environmental concerns we believe it is time for this association to lead the way with informative non-bias information on integrated vegetation management for its members and the public.
Our activities include:
