We are a recognized organization of professional people working for and providing information to our members in British Columbia and across Canada. 

 

At this IVMA of BC biennial forum, leaders in the vegetation management field will present up to date information on industry practices, technology, equipment and products as well as the ethics and social cost of programs. The IVMA of BC is the Continuing Education Credit Coordinator for Aerial, Forestry General, and Industrial Vegetation applicator certification categories. Many of the presentations at this year's forum will be approved for continuing education credits.

The Integrated Pest Management Authorizations program has made changes to the pesticide use permit application process under the Integrated Pest Management Act, which take effect starting June 7, 2021. Key changes are highlighted in the attached bulletin and a high-level overview of the new process is attached.

More supporting resources for applicants is under development and will become available this year.
