VISION
The IVMA of BC will be prominent in influencing industry best practices and regulatory policy decisions which will impact vegetation management efforts. This will be done to protect the interests of its members, ensure public and environmental safety and support socioeconomically sustainable Integrated Vegetation Management.
MISSION
The IVMA of BC advocates for responsible management of vegetation including ecosystem maintenance, restoration and erosion control. Specifically, the IVMA of BC is engaged in:

Continuing education of its membership through workshops and seminars,

Management of Continuing Education Credits and certification of its membership,

Industry to Government liaison for regulatory and jurisdictional input,

Advocating for continually improved and responsible practice with respect to Integrated Vegetation Management (IVM).
